Chicago Fire defender Mauricio Pineda will have another chance to earn his first cap with the senior U.S. Men’s National Team when the USMNT faces Trinidad & Tobago on Sunday, January 31 at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Fla. at 6:00 p.m. CT (FS1, UniMás, TUDN).

Pineda was part of a U.S. U-23 MNT camp that trained alongside Gregg Berhalter’s senior team this month in Florida. Following the camp, Berhalter moved several of the U-23 players—including Pineda—to the full USMNT roster.

In December, Pineda was on the gameday roster for the USA’s 6-0 win over El Salvador, but he did not see action in the match. He has previously represented the United States at the U-18 and U-20 levels.
