Four Chicago Red Stars earn USWNT call ups

New Red Stars forward Mallory Pugh will join Alyssa Naeher, Tierna Davidson and Julie Ertz in U.S. camp

It’s never a huge surprise when it happens, but the upcoming United States Women’s National Team camp will again be packed with Chicago Red Stars. Mallory Pugh, Alyssa Naeher, Julie Ertz and Tierna Davidson have all been selected to take part in the upcoming camp, Jan. 9-22 in Orlando, Fla.

Fellow Red Stars Casey Short, Morgan Gautrat and Sarah Gorden missed the cut this time.

At the conclusion of the camp, the USWNT will play Columbia twice—on Jan. 18 (6 p.m. CT, FS1), and on Jan. 22 (6 p.m. CT, ESPN2). Both matches will take place at Orlando’s Exploria Stadium.

Here’s a look at head coach Vlatko Andonovski’s entire, 27-player training camp roster:
