The Chicago Fire are back at their former home today, SeatGeek Stadium, for a preseason friendly against USL League One side Forward Madison FC. It’s the first matchup between the clubs. The game kicks off at noon, and you can watch it at ChicagoFireFC.com if you live within 75 miles of Soldier Field, or at ForwardMadisonFC.com if you’re watching within 75 miles of Breese Stevens Field.
The two sides have a close partnership—the Fire sent Alex Monis, Allan Rodriguez, and Chris Brady to Madison on loan last season, and new Forward coach Carl Craig joined the Fire in Florida this preseason, as did Mingos forward Michael Vang.
Defenders Mauricio Pineda and Francisco Calvo are back with the Fire after international duty. For Pineda, who was away with the U.S. U-23 Men’s National Team, today should mark his first appearance of the season for the Fire.
