Chicago Fire , Philadelphia Union 2: Man of the Match

MLS: Philadelphia Union at Chicago Fire Mike Dinovo-USA TODAY Sports

It was another tough loss for the Chicago Fire. The Philadelphia Union dominated for the first half an hour, and for the second week in a row, the Fire couldn’t manufacture many scoring opportunities. However, there were still some bright spots for the club, which honestly, makes this whole thing more frustrating. Our MotM this week is one of those bright spots. He worked his behind off for the entire match— contributing positively on both attack and defense. And he made some key interventions to keep the fire level in the first half. And so Boris Sekulic wins the award for the second week in a row.
