This one wasn’t so hard. the Chicago Fire outfield players all played the worst game I’ve seen a Fire team play since the opening weeks of 2011. Then, like now, goalkeeping was the thing that kept them close in a game they should have been blown out by the 20th minute. Bobby Shuttleworth made 10 saves and sold out trying to stop a free-kick that he was always unlikely to get, but he got a fingertip on. His team let him down, but you can’t deny his quality tonight. Here’s to you, Mr. Shuttleworth.
