Tonight’s match between the Chicago Fire and Orlando City (7 p.m CT) is nationally televised on UniMas, so don’t go looking for it on WGN-TV or CFFC Live. There’s a stream available on Twitter, as well.
The Fire are looking to make it two home wins in a row, after thrashing Atlanta United 3-0 Saturday night at Soldier Field.
“I think the way we continue that energy is to arrive to the game with the same mental preparation as we did for the last game,” Fire defender/interim captain/noted drummer Jonathan Bornstein said. “Everyone was really pleased with our performance and the result, so we want to carry that momentum forward into this game with Orlando. Hopefully we can, and we’ll get three points.”
Gastón Giménez is back from the Copa America, and is available to play tonight for the Fire for the first time in several weeks. Captain Francisco Calvo is in Costa Rica preparing for the Gold Cup, so he won’t be available.
