Chicago Fire 0, NYCFC 0: Man of the Match

MLS: New York City FC at Chicago Fire Mike Dinovo-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Fire defense has improved leaps and bounds over the last two weeks. NYCFC couldn’t get anything going offensively in large part due to the defense’s execution of their game plan and the fantastic work rate of our Man of the Match, Gastón Gímenez. Gímenez made plenty of key interceptions and stopped plenty of NYCFC’s attacks before they could even get a shot off.
